The 2011/2012 Annual General Meeting of the LSESU Malaysia Club will be held at TW1.U8, Tower One, London School of Economics on the 14th of March 2012 (Wednesday) at 2:00pm. Firstly, it is to receive a review by the committee members of their service in office and the accounts for the year ended 13th March 2012.

What is the purpose of this AGM?
  1. To receive a review by the committee members of their service in office and the accounts for the year ended 13th March 2012.
  2. To propose amendments to and ratification of the constitution.
  3. To elect a suitable executive committee for the academic year 2012/2013.
  4. To consider and, if thought fit, pass any motion made.

What are the available positions?
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
Should there be a vacancy in the other 6 positions (3 Project Director, Public Relation Director, Corporate Relation Director and Media & Communication Director), there would be a re-election for the position.

Please be reminded that candidates are required to submit a one-page manifesto to su.soc.malaysia-club@lse.ac.uk by 11.59pm on the 12th March 2012. To current committee members that would like to re-run, you could submit the edited version of the previous manifesto.

Candidates are also required to prepare a speech for the AGM.


I want to vote!
Pursuant to Section 13 of the Activities Bye-laws of the LSE Students' Union, to be eligible to vote, members must have been a fully paid member of the society for 48 hours prior to the elections.

  1. Reports on overall events and expenditures by the outgoing committee.
  2. Motions to be considered.
