It's that time of the year - the Annual General Meeting of the Club is back! We are opening up all positions for application. Also, coming up soon, a one-day Brighton Trip! And, we heard you - our final decision for our hoodies.


Applications are now open!

It's back - the 2012/2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the LSESU Malaysia Club! The details of the event are as follows:

Date: 5 December 2012 (Wednesday)
Time: 1:00pm
Venue: TW1.G01 

The AGM is held for the following purposes:

  1. To receive a review by the committee members of their service in office,
  2. To reveal the accounts for the year ended 4th December 2012,
  3. To propose amendments to and ratification of the constitution,
  4. To elect a suitable executive committee for the academic year 2012/2013, and
  5. To consider and, if thought fit, pass any motion made.

There would be elections for the following positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Project Directors (x3)
  • Corporate Relations Director
  • Public Relations & Sports Director
  • Media & Communications Director

Please be reminded that candidates are required to submit a one-page manifesto to e.woon@lse.ac.uk by 11.59pm on the 26 November 2012 (Monday). Please send them as Microsoft Word documents and have the e-mail titled Manifesto.

Candidates are also required to prepare a speech for the AGM. The strict time limit of each speech is dependent on the position applied.

  • President and Vice President - 4 minutes
  • Others - 2 minutes

Pursuant to Section 13 of the Activities Bye-laws of the LSE Students' Union, to be eligible to vote, members must have been a fully paid member of the society for 48 hours prior to the elections. Brighton Trip

Thanks for signing up for the Brighton Trip organized by LSESU Malaysia Club! Currently all the vacancies for the bus are filled. LSESU Malaysia Club Hoodies



The "Own Your Hoody" survey has come to an end. Here are the final results.

The LSESU MC hoody will have the KL SKYLINE design and it comes in RED, BLACK and BLUE. The LSE logo on the front will be EMBROIDERED. Thanks for taking part in the survey, now we are one step closer to getting the hoodies on you.

Now all that is left is to contact the suppplier and wait for the new quotation.
