The 2012/2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the LSESU Malaysia Club was held on the 14th of March 2012.
Here are the election results:

The supporting committee will remain the same until their term ends in the Michaelmas Term. However, the position of the Media and Communications Director and one of the Project Directors are now vacant as a consequence of promotion, but are not opened for application.
Motions passed:
- Elections of the Director and one of two Co-Producers of Malam Bakti to be held during the AGM in March. The other Co-Producer will be elected in the Michaelmas term and will be assumed by a First Year member.

Co-producer(s): Germaine Thai - To incorporate the role of a Sports Director with the role of the Public Relations Director.

The debate swirling around the Government's intention to officially set the private sector's retirement age at 60 raises a number of questions, none of which are new. The Government's move comes after the proposal to raise the civil service retirement age to 60 from 58 last October. According to reports, the Private Sector Retirement Age Bill will be tabled in parliament soon, with provisos to allow those who reach 60 to renew up to 64 and may contain a clause allowing people to retire earlier. UKEC Careers Fair will run for 4 days from Saturday 31st March - Tuesday 3rd April. The main event will be on Sunday April 1st.
Your tasks will include crowd control, assisting participants and ushering them around UCL to interviews, assisting with manpower & setting up company booths.
You will receive benefits of £5 per day and will all receive certificates from the UKEC. All volunteers will be provided with lunch on Sunday.
